Note: You can include your cover letter in the body of the email rather than attaching it to make it easier on the recipient.  This also ensures that they will see it since they have already opened your email.

Following Up

Give enough time , at-least 6-7 days to recruiter to screen your resume and wait for him/her to reply. Follow up with a phone call or email after a few days, if you haven’t heard back. If you make a phone call, give nice examples of how you can contribute to the success of the company.
